WFR-1 and WFT-1 USB upgrade

USB upgrade processing for EU(EUROPEAN VERSION)

Enclosed is the WFR-1 and WFT-1 European version latest software files for upgrade via USB.
This version is not suitable for USA customers!

Instructions for WFT-1 Update

1. Download and extract the file below www.sangean.eu/Updates/EU/WFT-1/WFT-1_V1.1.7.14611-2.zip

2. Pressed "Forward" and "Back" buttons at same time, and then plug in the AC cord, released the buttons until LCD display show up "USB Upgrade".

3. To connect USB cable between WFR-1 and PC, and then run the execution file of "ir-mmi.sgn.ven6-wft1_V1.1.7.14611-2.exe" on PC.

4. Once finished the upgrade processing, the Firmware Upgrade Wizard of PC will present with "Completing the firmware upgrade wizard", and then the WFR-1 will reset automatically and be placed in standby mode.

Firmware update WR-3

The radio won't show the RDS informations immediately after re-switching on? Now we have a firmware update for this problem.

Update firmware operating procedure:
1. Press at the right side the red cross and download BB7118335_GER.FWU to USB memory.
2. USB memory devices plug into the rectangular on the right hand side, under the panel.
3. to select USB mode.
4. LCD display shows "UPDATE? 4 3 2 1" to long press "PLAY" KEY + press "VOLUME DOWN" KEY until the display shows "UPDATE 01-100%"

WR-11 in colour!

Soon we will have the WR-11 in several colours.

As of mid/end of March 2009 we will have the WR-11 also in red, green, silver, white and yellow!

WI-FI Internet radio

Listening to the radio will never be the same again, it will be a new sensation! Sangean brings to you a new line of radio’s, namely the internet radio

As from now the WFR-20 is available with wich you can make a wireless connection with your router without even starting up your pc. If you do not have a router or a wireless internet connection you can connect the radio to your pc with the provided ethernet cable.

Bring the world into your (living) room by making a selection out of more than 6.000 (internet) radio stations all over the world. Listen to Jiangmen radio FM from China, Voice of Croatia, BBC radio or just to your local radio stations. Or do you prefer to listen to your favourite genre? This fantastic device also contains a media player with wich you can play your music files from your pc. The Sangean Internet radio is best tested in his kind and is the only one with digital bass and treble control.

As from May 2008 the new model WFT-1 will be available. This is a tuner to combine with you Hi-Fi system for an ever more thrilling music experience. The functions are comparable to the WFR-20 but it offers even more internet channels (up to 16.000) and additional FM-radio.
